Since I took the StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment, I’ve been looking for areas of convergence among my top 5 strengths to better point me towards career opportunities and life circumstances that cater to my strengths.

Rational Innovator
I have the balanced characteristics of both a analytical, data-driven realist and an innovative, creative dreamer.
I seek out new methods and approaches to problems by challenging and deconstructing my ideas to their essential elements to test their validity. I link together the facts I’ve gathered with personal life experiences to synthesize new ideas. My academic background in both a liberal and fine art school equips me to critically examine both the ideas I develop as well as those presented to me. I identify and develop weaknesses and connect the individual or organization with experts that can take their strengths to a higher level. I focus on culture and am fascinated by motivation.
Team Builder
I can focus on and develop an individual’s strengths, examining how their characteristics interact with both their personal vision and the individuals they interact with.
The interpersonal interaction in my life is my source of learning new information and processing the validity of ideas and concepts I come across. I play devil’s advocate to draw out new sides of the issue, especially ones I agree with. I can see the commonalities between individuals and work to foster group synergism and strong partnerships. I’m transparent with who I am because I find it builds trust within the group and am driven to form relationships.
